St. John’s Women of Grace, Growth & Giving (St John’s WG3) is a group of women who have joined together to stretch and grow our spiritual understanding of our connection to the Divine. It is also our intention to share our compassion, our blessings and our aid with those who are in physical or emotional hardship with a focus on the needs of women and children. We are dedicated to the discovery of the meaning of GRACE through GROWTH and GIVING.
Join the women of St. Johns and other like-minded women in exploring our spirituality. In an open and informal discussion group, you’ll be invited to share your thoughts and feelings about how our beliefs and spirituality affect our everyday lives and how we can learn more about putting our beliefs into action.
Each month a new and interesting topic is discussed led by a member of the group. Some of the topics on our agenda include a discussion of Images of the Feminine Divine, interviews with persons of other Abrahamic faiths, Contemplative prayer, Christian Mysticism and the Saints and Guided Meditations. All women in the group are welcome to suggest and lead an appropriate topic for discussion.
Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month from 7:00 – 9:00pm in the St. John’s Cloister. Coffee, tea and light refreshments are served. Feel free to bring a women family member or friend – All adult women are welcome! We hope to see you there!
