Mission

Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me. —Matthew 25:40

St. John’s members support a wide variety of Mission activities, including Habitat for Humanity’s “Episco-Build” project, Episcopal Relief and Development (international), Katrina Hurricane Relief, support for injured soldiers at the Landstuhl hospital in Germany, the Knitters Guild creating prayer shawls for people suffering from serious illness and warm clothing for Seafarers (through the Seaman’s Church Institute), the Midnight Run to New York City’s poorest neighborhoods, as well as regular volunteers who prepare lunch at Soup Kitchen of the Church of the Good Shepherd in the City of Newburgh.

All of these missions need your time, talent and treasure. Please call the church office (845-534-5475) to find out how you can get involved.
